Girls, Girls, Girls

Hi everyone! I missed you! I have been really busy though. Half of my energy has been going to visits with some of the loveliest ladies I know. The other half has been practicing something called Terrible Twos. It's really complicated and involves these things called Temper Tantrums. They're very tiring for me, and for my mom and dad too, but I feel like I have to keep at it so I can really hit my stride just in time for my brother or sister to arrive!

In the meantime, here's what I've been up to. When I woke up last Saturday morning, guess who was in my kitchen?? Aunt Hannah!!!!

We had a great visit. The next Friday, my friend Elora came to see me! We used to play when Mommy went to work, and we picked up where we left off.

Then, the NEXT morning I got up, and guess who was in my kitchen? Aunt KELLY! We had such a great visit. We went to the playground, we dyed Easter eggs, and I walked around and around in her boots!

It was awesome. But when I woke up today, Mom told me that somehow, my hair had gotten CRAZY again. I said, "Go to see Miss Amina? Cody get a haircut?" Mom said yes! I climbed right on up to wait for Miss Amina and we had a great time. So I'm posting all of these, because I know my Granny loves them!

Did you notice she used a spritzer? I'm really good at using those now too. Mom lets me play at the sink while she cleans the rest of the bathroom and you wouldn't even BELIEVE how wet you can get with a spritzer in just a few minutes! Anyway, there are no "after" pictures from my haircut, because I got really busy again with Terrible Two Temper Tantrums this afternoon. But trust me, I look really handsome.

First Dance

Cody may not always be thrilled about sharing his toys with his little buddy Violet . . .

But he always loves dancing with her.

I love my little boy.

Shampoo Horns!

We haven't had a good picture of shampoo horns in awhile, so here you go.

Turn that frown upside down

Jetty was cranktastic today. So this afternoon, we set off on an Adventure. Our mission: to find a new playground, and cheer him up, if only for awhile.

Mission accomplished! Oh, and he met a cute girl, too.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

See me just after I was born? Remember how little I was? My binkie takes up my whole faccia!

Kiss me! I'm Irish! Just a little bigger, that's all!

And also I know how to squirt my spritz bottle now, and it was awesome. And green.

Men at Work

Sunday afternoon, I woke up from my nap, and guess who was opening my door with Mommy? GRANDMA ROBBIE!! I haven't seen her since Aunt Hannah's big wedding party, when she and Tom took me for rides in the elevator. I talk about it all the time but I have really, really missed them. We had such a great visit. We played and played. Mom and Dad thought that part was especially awesome.

Tom tickled me and I laughed so much!

And Grandma Robbie and I had some really good talks. She gets me.

Then Tom said he had a present for me. I tried to explain that just having them come see me was my present but Tom said no, don't you want your air compressor? I said, "Cody have an AIR COMPRESSOR?" and everyone laughed and laughed. I'm not sure why. But look at this piece of amazingness:

It comes with TOOLS! More tools!

And it comes with a paint gun! (Everyone giggled when I said "Cody hold the paint gun please?") I think every little boy should have one. It whirs and spins and makes an awesome noise.

The most amazing part is that there is a drill attachment. Tom showed me how to work it and then I drilled EVERYTHING, even my belly button!

Grandma Robbie was a little nervous about the drill but I told her not to worry. I'm a workman. I know what I'm doing. Tom told her to relax because we are men, and we just instinctively understand about stuff like air compressors and screwdrivers and drills. Tom gets me, too.

What could possibly go wrong?

And if you can believe it, there was even MORE. Hannah and John brought me a THOMAS train and some tracks! It is so cool! And a whistle that goes "TOOT TOOOOOOOOOOT!" and a conductor hat!

There were a bunch of parts to put together. I figured it was probably better to let the grown-ups do the work.

Thank you all for such a great visit! I have been talking about you all the time, and I love you, and I miss you, and I can't wait to have another visit!

Where's Cody?

Hi everyone! I'm sorry it has been so long since I blogged. It's just that there has been so much going on! And Mommy and I have both been super busy. Mommy's kind of busy, I guess, with working and taking care of me and trying to get ready for my brother or sister to get born. But I'm extra super really busy these days. When I left off, I was telling you about how Aunt Mary Beth and Uncle Walter came to see me. Well guess what? The second morning they were there, I came downstairs for my cheerios and I saw....POP POP! I was so confused! How did he get there? And then...Granny apparated!! I was so, so happy to have so many people I love all in one room!

I took Pop Pop to Pebble Playground and we went on the swings together. I went pretty high. Later I played outside with Granny for hours!!

And then we practiced jigging and Ring Around the Rosy!

Guess what? I can go down the slide all by myself! Last time we came, before all the snow, Mommy could still climb up with me and I could slide down on her lap. But now Baby Robin takes up most of her lap and I was ready for a new challenge.

When I got to the bottom, I said, "That was AWESOME, Mommy!"

Here I am at the playground again. I am pretending to be Issac, a boy I saw get in trouble about 5 months ago at this very same playground. I remembered every detail of the event with my bizarre and uncanny memory and told Mommy all about how Issac ran up the slide after his Mommy said "no no" and he DIDN"T LISTEN and so he had to take a Time Out on this bench. I said to Mommy, "Cody is being Issac! Go into Time Out!" and I put myself in Time Out.

Don't worry--I wasn't really in trouble though. See me giggle?

This is me enjoying the last digging of the winter...

And the first digging of the spring!

Here's me in my new Shark Shirt! Daddy and I got it at Big Mall. That's where we go on our adventures. Dad says Big Malls run in my blood.

Here I am at the market, and I know what Mommy has inside her purse...

Yessssss!

Ok. It's past my bedtime, and this Springing Forward has me a bit messed up. I'm going to sleep but tomorrow I will give you the next installment of my exciting week: my visit with GRANDMA ROBBIE and Tom and Hannah and John!!
