Better Out Than In

Cody is 9 months old today!!! It is unreal to me that he's been outside me longer than inside. He's more of a blessing every day. Or so I kept telling myself that around 6:45, when he vomited his bedtime milk up. Or rather, down--my shirt. And wool sweater. Oh well. I had to go to the dry cleaner tomorrow anyway, to pick up the clothes he puked on last week. So it's all good.

Here we were 9 months ago:


And here we were today. CJP spent much of the day roaming from room to room, playing with all the door stoppers he has discovered and causing them to make that sprooiiinnnggggy sound he finds so satisfying lately.


This would be him realizing I have the camera out, and, deciding I probably want a close up, climbing up my lap:



And this would be him discovering that you can also crawl in the tub -- who knew? And if you go all the way to the end, there are shiny objects in which you can see that devastatingly handsome baby. And pull yourself up to stand in the tub, too. What could possibly go wrong?
