Not much to report from the weekend -- it has been rainy and yucky, and Cody and I have been stricken with allergies and all their attendant gunk. Friday was lovely, though, and the day culminated in a trip to the park, which culminated in a surprise visit from Daddy. One minute Cody was looking at me on the teeter totter; the next, Daddy was there! Cody was quite pleased with Daddy's Apparating skills.
Notice the new kicks. I'm not a horrible mother after all. I'm pretty sure they don't fit, but it turns out shoe shopping with a one year old is not at all fun. It didn't help that the shoe store clerks, when I asked for help figuring out his size, told me "we don't measure anymore since we're going out of business." Huh? Um, perhaps that's why you're going out of business.
