Super Weekend (so far!)

So far this has been a super, super weekend! It started Friday, with an epic trip to the playground with Mommy. Cordelia fell asleep (yessss!!!) and Mom and I played chasing and tag! I was covered in mud when I got home!

Then yesterday we got up early and went to Old Town and had breakfast at Buzz and went to my old playground!! Here are some pictures of me from this time last year, and then some of me from yesterday.






This is me now. Didn’t I get big and handsome? I mean, even more handsome?





We had such a great time that we decided to do it again today! Mom and Dad kind of gave up on getting us all ready for church at the same time. We were all up super early, but none of us managed to get showers or breakfast, so we just went back to Buzz! Then we went on an amazing riverwalk, and fed ducks!

And then we found a waterfall fountain – my favorite kind! Dad helped me climb up to get a really wet good look.

Then when Daddy’s back was turned I took off my shoes and started to climb up via the waterfall.


I got distracted on the first step, though, by the drain. It was awesome. I tasted the water and then I said to Daddy, “I don’t imagine that would taste very good!” I heard that once, and it seemed to fit.

Then I went to a baseball game with Daddy after my nap. It was what he called “eventful.” When I got home I described it to Mommy like this: “Uncle Brian got a big big bonk on the head with a baseball! The firefighers came to help him! And then a helicopter came to take him to the hospital so he could get all better!” It turns out it wasn’t Uncle Brian but a different Brian. I will admit, it was kind of scary. Daddy looked worried and so did everyone else. When they brought Brian the Batter off the field, I cheered louder than anyone, so he would hear me, and know that everything would be ok. He probably just needs a shiny band-aid. We said a lot of prayers for him tonight.

P.S... I don’t know if you noticed, but there’s a theme to my shirts. Friday I was Batman. Yesterday I was Superman. Today I am Spiderman. Just like Daddy! He wears his matching shirts on the days I wear them! We are twins. Superhero twins, to be exact.
