Baby Mum Mum

All this planting and talking of mums led Cordelia to ask for a certain product in the pantry...her first Baby Mum-Mum. For those of you who are not accustomed to eating toddler cuisine, because let's face it, it's easier than cooking, Mum-Mums are these gross, wafer-like baby rice cakes. They mostly just melt in the mouth and are a great first "finger food."

If Springsteen changed the lyrics just a bit, her song would be "Born to Eat." She LOVED it. The below occurred in the span of about 90 seconds.
Hey, this is kind of interesting? Wonder what it is? I should probably chew it and find out.
OMG. I think I'm actually supposed to chew it!
Yessssss! This is awesome!
Hmm. A little crunchy. Not like my usual food.
Not quite sure what to do here. I'll just keep going.
What do you do when there's nothing left to hold onto?

Mom? Can I have another?

Unfortunately, about 90 seconds after that, she gagged and wound up throwing up the whole thing. Still, I'm pretty sure she'd have tried it all again. Maybe we'll wait a couple more weeks, then "re-debut" them. It'll be new and delightful all over again! And I do mean all over.

Cowboy Cody ... you look great, pardner! Cordy-Bird... take a breath and maybe a little rest or drink between bites. There's more mum-mums in the cupboard. xxxx
