Last Sunday, we decided Cody's hair was out of control, so we went to see what Miss Amina could do about it. He was so excited to see her, but when we walked in...her chair was empty. The receptionist said she was taking a vacation day, but someone else would be happy to help. I glanced down at Cody to gauge his reaction, but he was already backing slowly toward the door, saying, "Oh no thank you very much but I will just come back another time to see Miss Amina I do not need a haircut that much but thank you anyway goodbye!"
He's a creature of routines. What can I say. So yesterday, we tried again, and there was a joyful reunion.
