Sunday afternoon, the kids went out to practice bike riding. Cody's been especially frustrated -- he wanted the training wheels off, but would get angry after about two minutes at not being able to balance. And then...he did it. It was one of those awesome parenting moments, of which there have not, to be honest, been all that many this week. We sent them out and then heard screaming (not unusual) ... but the joyful kind (quite unusual). We raced out to see him pedaling around the court with the biggest grin on his face. And here are the pics. I think my favorite part, really, is how doggedly she is pursuing him on his old balance bike, determined to figure out how to do it herself and then keep up. It pretty much sums up their relationship.
