Easter 2014

One of the many beautiful, merciful gifts of the Church is that Easter lasts for a whole season! Which means I am totally not late with this post.

Anyway, here are some of the highlights from Easter this year. We couldn't get Emma to look at the camera; she was busy looking at the "SLOWER!" (Flowers. And yet, she says "fwing!" for "swing.")

Granny and Pop Pop came down, and Mark, Kelly, and Fiona came, too! Is Fi the sweetest little bunny you ever saw, or what?

Cody and Kelly: besties. (Cody: "How much do I have to pay you to never make that face again?")

 After brunch, baseball:

And then, the best part: the egg hunt! Given Cody and Cordelia's  competitive spirits, we gave them a little talking to about helping Emma participate too, and making sure she got some eggs. To our delight, they spent probably the first ten minutes finding eggs and then either donating them to her basket, or saying, "Emma! Come find an egg over here!" She loved it.

Then she got bored and wanted to get in and out of her car. And in and out. And in and out.
And then open and close the eggs. And open and close. And open and close.
These two kept up with the search.

 Things eventually devolved, of course.
Hey! There's Emma again!
Happy belated Easter!
