Last week marked the first official visit to Chuck-E-Cheese. Against my will. But Cody's school was having a fundraiser, and when I picked him up after school he said excitedly, "Mom! Can I go to Chuck-E-Cheese today? I'd really like to go to Chuck-E-Cheese. [pause] What's Chuck-E-Cheese?"
"Chuck-E-Cheese! Go to Chuck-E-Cheese!" Cordelia repeated eagerly.
The experience was a season in Purgatory hit.
Cody experimented with all sorts of stuff. Above, "Mom! I am on the ark just like Noah!" Below, "Mom, is there any way you could possibly open this machine up so I can play with those little excavators?"
Cordelia, on the other hand, was more of a one-trick pony. All she wanted to do was "go back on the horsie! Do it now!" The mini merry-go-round was an instant classic. Here she is on ride 3...
How could I say no to that face? Sure, Birdie. Here's token 15. Go for it.

I want to go to there! I love seeing the everyday joy of such moments. Granny and Pop Pop will put this on our list of things to do when we come again. It's a cultural experience, no? Museums, galleries, Chuck-e-Cheese!
SO cute, even if it meant headaches for you! Look at those adorably big, giddy smiles! =D (That's the face Cordelia is maknig)
Have you heard Aunt Hannah's memories of Chuck-e-Cheese? That's where the Super Shot obsession began....

Chuck-e-Cheese was one of my favorite places in the world. We loved it so much that when my parents told us we could choose what we wanted to do on Christmas Eve one year, we picked going to C-e-C. We were there with one other family and a lot of sad, bored staff. Oh, and remember, it's all fun and games until someone pukes in the ball pit.
Looking forward to taking Cody on in Super Shot!
