Today was super hot, and since Cody was at "water day"at CMS, I took the girls to the library and then the pool. For the first time, Emma really, really, really loved it. She was delighted with jumping and splashing and kicking. It was lots of fun. So much so that I felt emboldened to return 5 hours later with all three kids. Before dinner, so everyone was nice and hungry. And overtired. This was a less good idea. But no one drowned.
What's with Cordelia's face there? Such a lady.
I love this kid. And her dimples.
She kind of needed a bath after dinner, so in we went...and realized her hair is now long enough for her first shampoo horns!

Little Miss Emma, I cannot wait to be with you in the pool in NC. And Miss Cordelia Mary, will you just jump right into my arms? I have such beautiful granddaughters who love each other. Lucky me!
