I got my haircut yesterday, for the first time since the day before Emma was born. Well, that's not technically true. I did go to get it trimmed a few months back -- but I had both girls with me, and Emma cried the whole time, and I tried to nurse her under the cape, and it didn't really work, so basically I got a hairwash and then left. This time, I left E home with JVL and Cordelia came to keep me company. She really, really hates having her hair washed, so I asked if she could have it done in the salon like a big girl...and it was a big hit.

Oh, what a grown up girl .... and how special to go to the salon with Mommy. Just the girls. Beautiful hair, Cordelia, just like Mommy.
